Scientists prove that there is 'Life After Death'

A team of psychologists and
medical doctors at the Technische
Universität of Berlin, have
announced that they had proven
by clinical experimentation, the
existence of some form of life
after death.
According to worldnewsdailyreport.com ,they
used a new type of medically
supervised near-death
experiences, that allow patients to
be clinically dead for almost 20
minutes before being brought
back to life.This controversial
process that was repeated on 944
volunteers over the last four
years.
The volunteers were made up of
members of variety of Christian
churches, Muslims, Jews, Hindus
and atheists.
Although there are some slight
variations from one individual to
another, all of the subjects have
some memories of their period of
clinical death.
Most common memories include a
feeling of detachment from the
body, feelings of levitation, total
serenity, security, warmth, the
experience of absolute dissolution,
and the presence of an
overwhelming light.
“I know our results could disturb
the beliefs of many people” says
Mr Ackermann. “But in a way, we
have just answered one of the
greatest questions in the history of
mankind, so I hope these people
will be able to forgive us. Yes,
there is life after death and it
looks like this applies to
everyone.”

Success driven by innovation & technology. The Tecno Mobile story

All successful brands the world over share onekey element in their success story and that is hard work.

TECNO Mobile is not left out in this
universal trend of unique brand development, high quality product offerings, affordability and improvement…improvement…improvement.
TECNO Mobile offerings in mobile voice and data technologies, which include: smart phones, tablets and feature phones ranges enjoy huge
popularity and adoption in Africa.

A market in need…TECNO to meet

The African market has always had a huge purchasing potential and can build a strong affinity for value driven products only of brands
understood the peculiar needs of the African market space. TECNO Mobile is one of such brand that understood Africa’s unique infrastructural challenges, consumer behavior
and tailored their products to meet this significant market.

In 2006 when TECNO Mobile
entered the African Mobile OEMs space there were existing top global brands already operating within the African space from the likes
of NOKIA TM , SAMSUNG, ALCATEL,
MOTOROLATM to name a few. However, none of these global brands factored in the Power
challenges and the fairly nascent Telecos infrastructural development across the continent in their design of mobile cell products. Many of
the mobile voice operators at the time had infrastructure that struggled to deliver quality voice connections across a wide range thus the advent of TECNO Mobile Dual-SIM products.
TECNO sold unique ideas at affordable rate TECNO Mobile Dual-SIM philosophy for Africa is hinged on the fact that telecommunications
infrastructure for land lines service is under developed and over burdened and cannot meet
Africa’s over whelming need for voice service and the fact that many African consumers demand a mobile device that can hold more than
one SIM card. TECNO introduced the Dual-SIM technology to the African market and price-friendly rate and Africa took notice. Now as we
know not all price-friendly and affordable phone in the Nigeria market today are good, most are
counterfeit phones and are dangerous, some of them may explode, some of them have high
radiation, they are not approved by SON they cause serious damage to the user both short and long term use. SON is having a serious
crack down on this and it is a very good moveas us, Nigerians have to safe guard our health and our future

TECNO MOBILE SUCCESS

TECNO Mobile did not relevant in capitalizing on the opportunity the Africa market provided; Africa was willing to do welcome TECNO Mobile
when Nokia and Samsung was dominating the market. The mobile manufacturer offered affordability, originality and aspiration in their
range of products and customer base began to swell. By 2009, TECNO Mobile had become an
accepted and robust competitor with low-end mobile devices that offered value at affordable rates.

TECNO Mobile has come of age

TECNO believe in Africa and have achieved success alongside Africa. Today Africa is home to some of the world’s fastest growing
economies averaging an annual growth rate of more than 5.0% with a growing middle class with taste for high quality experience. TECNO
Mobile has grown with Africa having
consolidated on its position as a major mobile manufacturer company, once again delivering
unique insight-based mobile technology service to Africa’s growing urban dwellers. The company currently has moved its Research and Development (R&D) Headquarters to Shanghai, a strong team of French designers in a drive to deliver, contemporary, high functional, competitive and stylish products to the African market. Africa is our sole market...and we will treat her right" this is quote by Arif Chowdhury, Vice President, Transsion Holdings.

The successful and of course note worthy launch of the Phantom Z smart phone; the first high-end and the first truly the only Octa-core
processor smart phone in the world by TECNO Mobile, Nigeria goes to show TECNO Mobile’s level of aspirations and global competitiveness.

Meet TECNO's Phantom family

TECNO Phantom A+, R7 and Phantom Z epitomize affordability, performance, speed, style and lifestyle. These high quality smart
phones have clearly raised the bar in terms of value-for-money for any global mobile phone brand that wishes to compete in the Africa
space at both the mid and high-end of offerings.
TECNO Mobile will continue to also build lasting value in the Africa communities by driving initiatives such as the Local apps development
challenge in partnership with sister company Afmobi Said Arif Chowdhurry.

The Ebola Nightmare

By: George Ekwuribe

gekwuribe@gmail.com

Nigeria and indeed Africa have at one time or the other witnessed the outbreak of some life threatening diseases, such as, cholera, malaria, sars, gonorrhea and a whole lot including HIV/AIDS. These epidemics at their eruption cause panics among the people. The government steps in as expected, the citizenry take precautions, international bodies lend hands both in research and in the fight, well to do citizens, companies, and non-governmental-organizations add their quota and of course, the media makes headlines, setting agendas for its audiences.
But of the various pandemics afore witnessed, none has ever been as nightmarish as the deadly Ebola Virus Disease (EVD). For almost two months now, news bulletins of media houses both print and electronic seem incomplete without a headline dedicated to Ebola; discussions even on streets cannot go without a word of Ebola; boarding the normal commercial buses (danfo) in Lagos is now a thing of strong faith and bravery, as passengers try hard to avoid contact with fellow commuters for fear of Ebola; at the inception, bankers were seen in bank halls and across the counters guarded up with masks and hand gloves; even at fast-food joints, the case is same with the bankers, just that at entry, you are served with drops of sanitizers on your palm; in churches and mosques, sermons do not reach the borderline without a reference to Ebola, in fact ushers at entry into some church auditoriums like the fast-food places, serve members with drops of sanitizer to avoid transfer of  the virus; even jokes have been generated from Ebola by comedians. “The gospel of Ebola is spreading like wild fire” a friend of mine opined some days ago, and I really concur.
It is no longer news that the birth of Ebola in Nigeria was as result of a Liberian-American traveller by name, Patrick Sawyer, who without business intentions imported the deadly virus into Nigeria from Liberia by air travel. It was reported that Mr. Sawyer flew into Nigeria via Lome and Accra from Liberia, and on arrival in the city of Lagos, became violently ill and died five days later.
After Mr. Sawyer, several other people (both his primary and secondary contacts) including the health workers who treated him in the hospital where he died were kept under close surveillance. An update on the EVD in Nigeria as at September 3rd, 2014 by the Minister for health, Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu, confirmed that the total number of confirmed Ebola cases in the country is 18. The 18th confirmed case is the sister of the late Port Harcourt doctor, and the number of cases successfully managed and discharged is 8. Prof Chukwu also noted that the last case to be discharged, the first secondary contact to be diagnosed and a spouse of a primary contact of the index case, went home from the isolation ward in Lagos on Tuesday 2nd September, confirming the 9th survivor as the ECOWAS Commission official who jumped surveillance in Lagos and travelled to Port Harcourt. The minister further confirmed that the total number of deaths from the disease in Nigeria was seven. He further debunked rumours of EVD cases outside Lagos and Port Harcourt.
However, the EVD outbreak of 2014 which was detected in Guinea and later Liberia, Sierra Leone, Senegal and Nigeria is seen to be the greatest of all Ebola pandemics in history right from when it was first recorded in 1976 in Zaire (now Republic of Congo) where the disease was named after a river known as Ebola River. From March 2014, at least over 3000 people have been infected with over 1500 deaths across West Africa.
Amidst great fear for the EVD, a lot has been said about how it is contracted and how it can equally be prevented. At a time, some said mere sight of an infected person is capable of transferring the virus, others claimed Ebola is air-borne. Also in prevention, it went viral at a time that bitter cola cures and prevents Ebola. It was also claimed that a bath with warm water and salt is a remedy to contracting the virus. At those times, bitter cola and salt sellers I believe smiled to the bank as their goods became rare commodities and was high in demand.
Be that as it may, contrary to the various notions on how EVD is contracted and prevented, health experts say it is spread through contact with a person who is infected. Blood and bodily fluids of an infected person, such as sweats, saliva and semen contain large amounts of virus. For prevention, experts have also identified various measures. For health workers handling infected persons: wearing of protective clothing (such as masks, gloves, gowns and goggles); using infection-control measures (such as complete sterilization and routine use of disinfectant); isolating patients with Ebola from contact with unprotected persons. And for the general populace: practice careful hygiene, avoid contact with an infected person’s blood or bodily fluids; avoid funeral or burial rituals that require handling the body of someone who has died from Ebola; avoid contacts with bats and nonhuman primates or blood, fluids and raw meat prepared from these animals; avoid hospitals where Ebola patients are being treated.
Howbeit, the government both at the federal and state levels in conjunction with international bodies, NGOs, companies, well-to-do Nigerians, the media and others have shown great concern to seeing that this scourge is curbed. But a permanent antidote for EVD in Nigeria, Africa and the world at large cannot be realizable if it is regarded as a West African or African plague alone. The world must unite in one common harmony against this deadly threat to mankind. Health campaigns should be taken to all nooks and crannies and to people who are at risk of contracting the virus. Governments of all African countries must work hand in hand to see to it that the dispersal is abridged.
Hence, the Nigerian government should not relent in its efforts to ensure that the EVD is truncated, so as to relieve its citizenry of the fear and nightmare it has suffered. Every related body must be synergized to form a strong force against this epizootic to stop further spread across the nation.
In addition, the people of Nigeria have a vital role to play as well. Every person should adhere to safety measures and precautions proffered by the government and health experts, as we pray, believe and hope that EVD will become a thing of the past in Nigeria, Africa and the rest of the world, just like other outbreaks which in the past caused panics, but later received impressive management mechanisms for victims.

Congo Humiliates Nigeria

The Red Devils of Congo defeated Stephen Keshi-led African champions, Nigeria, scoring three goals against the Super Eagles.
Thierry Bifouma scored twice while Prince Oniangue scored the other goal. Efe Ambrose and Gbolahan Salami found the back of the net for
Nigeria.
The game ended 3-2 in favour of Congo, placing them on three points.
South Africa and Sudan are the other teams in the group as the Super Eagles bid to defend their
trophy in Morroco next year.

The power of positive thinking

Positive thinking is a mental attitude that admits into the mind thoughts, words and images that are conductive to growth, expansion and success. It is a mental attitude that expects good and favorable results.

A positive mind anticipates happiness, joy, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action. Whatever the mind expects,it finds.

Many have heard it said that another person cannot make you happy. The happiness will come from within you. Being confident is a choice and it will produce positive emotions. There has been much research done on being in a positive state. It will produce a sense of well-being and has even proven to have multiple health benefits. Successful living today being positive will change your life.

The way that someone feels about
themselves shows in the way they act.

They always find funny things in
everyday life that makes them and
others happy. There is joy and
cheerfulness that just rubs off on the
people who are around them. The way they feel shows in their life because they are more relaxed and sleep better at night. They are not only physically assured but mentally as well. Most people have a spiritual connection that gives them the confident mindset in life.

People who have a confident mindset take full advantage of their work force. They go in everyday with a smile on their face and the confidence that they have the ability to handle anything that comes their way. Their ability to take responsibility and not to blame others when something goes wrong shows that they have a handle on life. Negative emotions have no place with them on their way to success.

Confidence is so much better than
looking back and thinking of what could have been. Confident people are ones that you want to be around because they make the most of the present and look forward to the future. They are in awe of the beauty of nature and good things around them. This behavior comes from choosing the atmosphere that one is around.

It is best to surround yourself with assured people that are upbeat and thinking good thoughts. Try to avoid negative news and thinking on unpleasant things. This will be to your advantage in building the blocks in your life of thinking of good wholesome thoughts.

Remember that as a man THINKS in his heart so is he and God is able to do exceeding abundantly above what we ask or THINK!!!

FORGIVENESS 001

Peter: Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times?
Jesus: I say not unto thee, until seven times: but, until seventy times seven!
The above was a conversation between Jesus and one of His disciples, Peter, in Matthew 18:21-22
The word “forgiveness” according to the dictionary is an act which makes us to stop feeling angry with somebody who has done something to harm, annoy, or upset us. It is a word which is very easy to say and very common, yet for majority, it is very difficult to carry out.
Some people believe or feel there are levels or magnitude of offenses that require forgiveness and some that do not require. But we can see through the conversation between Jesus and Peter that forgiveness is an act that must be carried out or practiced irrespective of the magnitude, height or number of offenses that we feel. Jesus said 70×7=490 times in a day!
No matter the degree or amount of offense or sin someone commits against us, we owe them forgiveness!
In case you’re reading this and you feel very heavy in your heart towards someone who has wronged you, remember we all are as well guilty one way or the other against God, yet he forgives us even before hand. Or who can stand him if he regards our iniquities…can you?
I want you to know that, God being God he is, cannot command us to do what he God cannot do, for we are made in his image, after his likeness.
Unforgiveness has hindered a lot of good things coming our way without us knowing it. When you forgive, you are actually doing so for your own good…for yourself, and you relieve yourself of heaviness and you become open and credible for God’s manifold blessings!
So, wouldn’t you rather forgive today and be free?
